Overview

This campaign is inspired by the song Doubt by Samm Henshaw featuring Wretch 32 and its matching message. The song speaks to how overwhelming it can be to experience anxiety and how important it is to deal with it in order to progress in life. In current times, society often prioritizes productivity over mental health, which can result in tremendous amounts of stress and anxiety. The touchpoints of this campaign offer thoughts of comfort, which can help break the cycle of worry and encourage others to seek help if they need it.

The mandate was to find a genre, song or musical movement that best represents a cause and use typography to bring it to life.

Vinyl

The word “doubt” is illustrated on this vinyl cover with holes forming inside of it, which reveal darker layers symbolizing unaddressed anxiety and self-doubt that can take over someone’s life. The consoling lyrics under the word represent the thoughts that can help break this cycle of worry.

Poster

The lyrics “doubt won’t save us all” express that although doubt and anxiety can be prevalent, constantly ruminating on these thoughts isn’t effective long-term. "We alright” repeat three times, providing words of comfort and suggesting that everyone is in this together. The word “doubt” taking up most of the poster also represents who we are as a whole. Although lots of doubt is burning through us, there’s still hope left.

App

The app provides a space where users can see thoughts that have helped others with their emotions. They can also post thoughts that have been helping them get through their day.

Cards

These cards are created to be distributed in schools, therapists’ offices, and other public spaces during stressful times. They each have a saying on them providing comfort to those who are overwhelmed with anxiety. Similarly to Valentine’s day cards, they can be given out to loved ones or friends.
